The accusation of “heresy” is made daily on social media as theology geeks from different Christian denominational or doctrinal persuasions debate. It’s clear that the one who uses it is claiming that another person is wrong in some deeply important (perhaps even dangerous) way. But what does heresy mean? In this episode, we’ll talk to Warren Mcgrew, who has plenty of thoughts on the subject as someone who is commonly referred to as a heretic. Here’s a little about Warren, in his own words: I’m a theology geek, who enjoys studying the Bible and Church history - exploring the origins of various beliefs and considering their validity in light of Scripture. I am active in producing content and sharing what I've learned; often found engaging in both formal and informal theological debate. I strive to temper my zeal for the truth in wisdom and love, proclaiming and demonstrating the love of God to others.”
